VISION
Aujourd’hui le Sénégal est une référence dans le domaine de l’assainissement autonome et cela est dû en grande partie au partenariat public privé consenti par l’ONAS (Office National de l’Assainissement du Sénégal), dans la délégation de service de l’assainissement le long de la chaine de valeur de l’assainissement,un pari gagné au Sénégal par Delvic qui est devenu un acteur important du sous-secteur de l’assainissement en général et de la gestion des boues de vidange en particulier, ce qui a permis d’étendre notre expertise dans des pays en développement et de devenir un leader africain de l’assainissement productif.
Delvic a notamment été sélectionné pour participer aux programmes et projets suivants:
- Le Programme de Structuration du Marché des Boues de Vidange de l’Office National de l’Assainissement du Sénégal (ONAS).
- Le programme Renforcement des Partenariats des Operateurs d’Assainissement en Afrique (RASOP Africa), initié par la Fondation Bill & Melinda Gates et mis en œuvre par l’Association Africaine de l’Eau (AAE).
- Le projet Global Evaluation and Monitoring of Fecal Sludge Treatment Plants (eFSTP) en partenariat avec le Department of Sanitation, Water and Solid Waste for Development SANDEC au Swiss Federal Institute of Aquatic Sciences and Technology (Eawag).
- Le Programme de Structuration de la Filière des Boues de Vidange à Yaoundé et Niamey.
- Le Programme Stanford Seed pour partager son expérience d’entreprise privée africaine 100% dédiée à l’assainissement autonome au cours du Forum Africain des Affaires (African Business Forum).
MISSION
L’assainissement inadéquat en Afrique y compris au Sénégal, est un problème grave qui s’accentue avec la croissance des populations et les tendances telles que la rareté de l’eau et une urbanisation qui s’intensifient.
Dans le monde, l’assainissement défectueux, reconnu comme une cause majeure de maladies d’origine hydrique, entraîne plus de 1,200 décès d’enfants de moins de cinq ans par jour.
En tant que partie prenante dans le processus de développement et de modernisation de l’assainissement individuel sénégalais, nous sommes dédiés à l’assainissement autonome en général et à la problématique des boues de vidange en particulier, en fournissant des solutions d’assainissement adaptées aux besoins du marché.
Nous offrons des services sur la collecte, le transport, le traitement et la valorisation des boues de vidange ainsi que des services de formation, appui-conseil, et ingénierie sur la gestion des boues de vidange et des eaux usées industrielles.
Nous intervenons également sur la réalisation et la réhabilitation d’ouvrages d’assainissement.

Our contribution and services encompass the entire value chain of onsite sanitation. Delvic Sanitation Initiatives was the first private African company to manage Fecal Sludge Treatment Plants (FSTPs), such as the nine FSTPs in Dakar, Thiès, and Diourbel regions of Senegal as part of a public private partnership (PPP) with the National Office of Sanitation of Senegal (ONAS). Delvic Sanitation Initiatives is also the first global privately held African company selected by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation to acquire and operate the “Sedron Bioenergy Omniprocessor, a technological innovation that valorizes the treatment of fecal sludge and solid wastes by producing by-products such as electricity, water of excellent quality for industrial application and ashes to be used in agriculture and civil engineering.
VISION
Today Senegal is a reference in onsite sanitation, largely due to the public-private partnership granted by ONAS (National Office of Sanitation of Senegal), in the delegation of sanitation services along the sanitation value chain.
A bet won in Senegal by Delvic, who has become an important player in the sanitation sector in general and fecal sludge management in particular, which allowed us to extend our expertise in developing countries to become an African leader in productive sanitation.
Delvic has been selected to participate in the following programs and projects.

MISSION
Worldwide, poor sanitation, recognized as a major cause of water-borne diseases, causes more than 1,200 deaths of children under five years of age per day.
Inadequate sanitation in Africa, including Senegal, is a major problem that is only increasing with population growth and trends such as water scarcity and urbanization.
As a stakeholder in the process of development and modernization of Senegalese individual sanitation, we are dedicated to the modernization of onsite sanitation and the treatment of the fecal sludge in particular, by providing sanitation solutions adapted to the market needs.
We provide services on the collection, transportation, treatment and recovery of fecal sludge as well as training, consulting, and engineering services, and support on the management of sludge and industrial wastewater.
We also work on the construction and rehabilitation of sanitation facilities.
